Does the GT/CS come with a V6? If not then what's the point?

I am keeping the 5.0 badge off my car. Being on the engine cover is good enough.

There will be a lot of 5.0's on the roads soon and it will be nice to have a 'sleeper' that is a little different then the norm.

Anyway, if someone doesn't know it's a 5.0, they will after I leave them in the dust...

That is a great idea for a mod, assuming they can match the color and sheen of the existing decal.

A red decal underneath the main decal, aligned w/ the decimal point would be a neat touch.

Here's an idea... get a 5.0 and put whatever stripes you want on it.

/It doesn't need the emblem. It's fine like it is.

Dude, moving the 5.0 emblem around other than where it belongs just looks like a hack job. Reminds me of things ricers would do. Like someone said, less is more. The car looks nice just as it is.

Don't like any of them. I'd put the badge on if you yanked the side stripe, but other than that, leave it off.

Thanks, I'll try to do the same photoshop of a picture of the stripe where "GT" is in front of "CS" so you can see "5.0" better.

I was doing a build to order tonight and a GT is a GT a V6 is a V6 to have the CT/CS it was available on the 5.0 GT I was pondering ? So my take it's a bs package for more cash.

Problem with that is the GT and CS aren't in the same position on each side. You would have to replace the GT on one side and the CS on the other, or have 2 different size 5.0 cuts. (See Attached)

I agree, but some people seemed to want nothing to do with the CS package just because the 5.0 was missing. I was just presenting options and seeing if anything didn't look like a hack job.

What I've learned from this is: any badging mods done to the CS looks like a hack job to most people here because, as Mustang enthusiasts, they are used to badges being in that exact spot on the front fender and nowhere else. As it's been pointed out before a lot of people who are even into cars don't know what the CS stands for and prob wouldn't realize the 5.0 badge wasn't on the fender from factory. Most of the public still hasn't caught wind of the new 5.0 and wouldn't even gain anything from seeing the badge.

It's all personal preference and I think i'm going to stick with my original plan of tinting the windows and leaving everything else stock for the next couple of years. I think I like the idea of pulling up to a stop light next to a ricer misinformed enough to think I have a V6 (maybe even 4.0). After all I hear the idle is quite tame

looks awful, just get brembos instead of GT/CS...way better of an investment anyway. Unless you've already ordered..then you're screwed.

I just can't enjoy the CS. The wheels and abundance of stick-on stuff bothers me. I agree with the "less is more" concept.

Not to copy the other 2 pony cars, but I think the rear deck lid would be better... warns those who would do a fly by like the "COBRA" bumper used to.

Abundance? Just the side scoops.

Side scoops, pedestal spoiler, decals, and ugly wheels. Not my cup of tea, that's all.

Not really stick-ons just options but I respect your opinion. I personally think the Brembo wheels are ugly and prefer the CS wheels. I know this is the car I want because when I saw it in person it looked fantastic. But some people are minimalists and I can understand that.

I live in an area where black BMW's, Beige Lexi, and gray Infinities are all you see. I have to cut myself to see some color around here. I think the Race Red CS will stand out from the crowd and proudly say, screw you rich *** holes.

I agree. The last thing this car needs is one more thing that says "look at me". Who cares if non-aficionados don't realize you've got a 5.0 liter engine?

Well I don't blame you for getting something that stands out, but what makes you think a GT with the 5.0 by itself without the CS package wouldn't turn as many heads? I agree, this car for me is a move to something that pops a bit more. Kona when clean is a stunning color, and I'm excited to finally own a blue car (I've missed out the last two cars I've owned and wanted one!).
