What did you trade/sell to get your Mustang?

Traded in a 2004 330Cic that was a nice car but cost way too much to maintain:

And no Black Fire, you're not the only F-body fan around here. I suspect we both got our screen names from our 'birds. I sold this 2000 T/A about six months before getting the Mustang:

Wanted a convertible instead of t-tops, bought the Bimmer, spent $490 just to replace a thermostat and didn't feel right wearing jeans while driving it so I factory ordered the Mustang in order to get exactly the options I wanted.

My Screen name on all the F-body/LS boards is 9T8W66 (1998 and W66 is RPO for Formula), Black fire is all about the Mustangs Color (black with a hint of fire).

Interesting... you can see how I would think that Black Fire referred to your black Firebird. I'm still a moderator on LS1Tech although I'm starting to find that 4th gen f-bodies have become cheap enough that there's a bunch of kids on there now and it's not as interesting as it used to be.

Nice car Ace....Is that an M35? I had an infiniti g35 coupe as well. Loved that car...
Nice! Make sure you don't drill any front plate holes in your 13 boss.
Sunset Gold. Only available on the '10s.
Kind of like the yellow blaze metallic for 11?

I traded my 2009 Nissan 370Z Sport/Touring 6 speed.

It was an awesome car. Sometimes I wish I still had it, but I always felt like it tried to be too many things without really excelling at anything. Now that I have my S2000 I feel like I have the best of both worlds.
The 370Z really tries to combine the best of cars like the S2000 and cars like the 5.0 but for someone **** like me it doesn't do it quite good enough.
Still, it's probably the best compromise sport/muscle car in the "affordable car" market.
The Z is really what got me off the sidelines and heavily involved in the car community from an organizational standpoint. I started a local Z club in 2009 which has really grown. I'm still president and not all of our members still own their 370Zs so we have an interesting mix of Zs, Mustangs, Fiats, etc.

It wasn't so much a money issue, i could've kept it, but i just couldn't drive it anymore. I put 4 years of hard work into this complete restoration and was just so nervous when driving it.
I also didn't like pumping the brakes before coming to a stop, and hated that sloopy feeling in the sterring wheel. But i guess that's how these car handled and braked back in the days.
I should've have built a restomod instead, but decided to sell it instead.
I still get to see the car once in a while as the guy who bought it from me lives an hour away.
Looking for a nice restomod '56 Ford pich up truck.
