What did you pay for your 2011 - 2012 GT?
I know a guy here upstate who paid $30,000 for his 12 GT. This is only because the dealership custom ordered the car in a hideous yellow for someone else's that decided the car just wasn't for them. So after a while of sitting on the lot; they sold it to the guy I know that picked it up.

In October 2011, I purchased a 2011 GT Premium, Rapid Spec 400A, 6AT, Electronics Package, Comfort Package, 19" nickel wheels. I made the dealer install a $300 full window tint job, install my GT500 exhaust, and install full security package, all included at no extra. Sticker=$38,620, I paid $36,316. Here's a link to my sticker:

Be prepared to walk out without making the deal. If the salesman knows you are serious about walking he won't want to lose you.
When you walk in and deal and discuss, be sure to tell them what your expectations are, in a respectful manner. Of course, choosing the right dealer is key. Some places are just downright awful, and you wonder how they stay in business. But if you find a VOLUME dealer who also values customer service and retention? You're golden. I buy all my cars under invoice. Always.
Last September I bought a base model V6 Kona Blue Mustang. Sticker price on the window was $23,488.
I got GAP insurance, an extended drivetrain warranty to 100,000 miles, a tire and wheel insurance which will replace those from free if I damage them, and another insurance policy that will make up to 6 months worth of car payments should I lose my job.
Throw in destination charges, tax, title, and license fees, and I walked out of the dealership having paid only $23,300, with a 0% interest loan and no trade-in.

I can finally post my results.

That car looks great! And I think you got a good deal. The extra $3,750.00 rebates [$3000.00 Ford/$750.00 personal cash coupon] are amazing! I have not heard of that. Congrats. Post pics ASAP!
****, all these crazy deals are making me feel like i got ripped off......
Although with my 1000 and 500 rebates from Ford and X-Plan, they WOULDNT accept my $750 cash coupon. I was kind of pissed off about that since they told me from day 1 that it would be accepted. I was going to walk but waited almost 3 months for the car and was all caught up in the moment lol.
People say you wont get a better deal then X-plan unless its time for a new model year or something. But looks like you guys proved that to be a Myth.
