There aren't may new '10's left around here (Seattle). I work at a big dealer and we've been sold out of '10 V6's for awhile. Just a couple GT's left. Plenty of '11's here already, though.

Ive seen a GT for under $22,000 ($7500 Off) so I would think discounts on the V6 would be significant.

I recently saw an ad for a 2010 v6 with premium package selling for $15k! I was surprised: my dad bought his v6 new in 2001 for 16k!!

I seriously considered it, but hey, what's another 6k?

yes new...i didn't pay attention to see what the options were on it. usually they have base and stripped v6's for that. right now some 2011 v6's are going for around 20K, probably a barebones.

Honestly, I wouldn't even consider the 2010 v6 no matter the price. The 11 v6 is the only v6 mustang worth buying IMO.

I just think for the price, even 16k, there are better buys over the 10 or any previous v6. I mean you aren't getting great performance, or gas mileage with the v6... it doesn't really excel in anything other than styling.

If i had to have a mustang and had a 16k budget, I would look at an older 05-09 gt.
