Well, it could have been a deer....

Was heading home last evening from visiting friends when a big fat raccoon ran out in front of me. At 55 mph (really) there was nothing I could do. Here's what he did to my car. Unfortunately, unlike the GT, the V6 has a one piece bumper and grill surround. The whole thing, plus the bottom grill insert, has to be replaced. Not to mention the A/C condenser is caved in. And with only a little over 5400 miles on it. But I consider myself lucky, it could have been a deer. Guess I'll talk with my insurance agent tomorrow. Nobody got hurt and I didn't involve the guy who was passing me when it happened so I'm good. I mean, what are ya gonna do?

Have it replaced with a GT front end/grille/CS fascia...shouldn't cost the shop any more $ for that combo...

Look on the bright side... You can switch to the GT/CS front fascia and get rid of the plugs for the license plate bracket holes at the same time!

I don't think anyone eats those things. I saw a show on tv where some people were eating armadillo.

Wow its amazing how much damage it did for such a relatively small animal. If you can get the Ins company to write you a check you can get the parts for a GT and "upgrade" the whole front end for about the same as it would be to buy the OEM parts and have them painted. But glad no one got hurt and the damage isn't too bad!

Tastes like chicken?

Good luck with the repairs. I agree with the above that this is the perfect opportunity if you want a different front end... CS/Roush/??
