I heard that before. If I can get a price out of Galpin maybe that would help.

I doubt you will find a base GT anywhere because the dealers want to make money.I anticipated this and ordered my performance white base GT with 3.73 gears from Buerge Ford in West Los Angeles

www.buerge.com just ask for Tracy Dodd in internet sales or stop by and ask for Henry Ford.It took just over 10 weeks from order to delivery to get my car but it was worth it.I did X-plan plus the $750 coupon and $500 from ford 27K there are quite a few others that may have what you want but this is my local dealer and they took care of me.

you might try Airport Ford,Sunrise Ford also.hope this info helps

regards,Allen

My dealer only has 1 '10 left last I checked. You can order a base '11 for $200 above invoice if you call John Reid @ Citrus Motors in Ontario and mention my name.

Oooops I did'nt read the thread title, your looking for a 2010 not 11.When I was waiting for my car they still had a couple of 2010 GT's including a nice sterling silver with track pack. They also had a new 2009 black GT with glass roof and hood scoop. Also another option that I considered was to fly up to San Jose and buy from Frontier Ford and drive home. They had lots of 2010's and at the time they were taking $8500 off sticker.I talked to Denise Domingo at Frontier Ford (408)557-6258

Sunrise Ford GT Base in Brilliant Silver
$29,245 - $7,500 = $21,745

Find a dealer with a Black One and make them match the price.

The longer you wait the less choices there will be.
I have a feeling by the end of labor day weekend, most dealers won't have many 10 GT's left on their lots. They are practically giving them away now. If you really want one, chop chop.

Why is everybody so hesitant to actually go the dealer and look? All you have to do is say no.

What you have to do is just find a car that you like and make an offer, if it is within reason they will jump all over it and you will get your car.

i've been to several dealers in s.cal looking at 2010's, and while they were interested in making a deal, their "deal" usually did not include anymore than about 5k off of msrp. one local dealer advertised 10k off of msrp on any remaining gt's in stock, but the fine print had conditions such as "must finance with fmc".

I had the same issue when shopping for my mustang. For me it was between a 2010 gt and 2011 v6... I thought I would be able to get great deals on the 2010 from what a i read online... but no go in SoCal. The most I was able to get off was 3-4k.. making the 2010 not a very good buy.

That is why i ended up getting a 2011 v6 MCA. All of these great deals people have been getting, must have been in different locations.

Before I bought my '11 I also thought about a '10 with a Quick Twin Screw Blower Install (five minutes after I bought the car), which would Equal the Same price as the '11 (and Almost the same performance) at the End of the Day..
but then I saw they weren't REALLY dealing on them, anything MEANINGFUL that is, like 8K off Sticker, si I said the Heck with it, and I'm glad I did, as even a Blower '10 would have a Hard time running Mid 12's....

Any 4.6L running a legit supercharger (edelbrock, roush, wipple, paxton, saleen, etc...) can run low-mid 11's.
