a friend was told by his dealer that his car is unscheduled until after the 15th because manual tranny cars are on hold.

I was told by Dave Pericak (Mustang Chief Engineer) while at AAI yesterday that all cars are shipping and the holds are done.

While I didn't order a 2011 Mustang I too am waiting for a new and special Ford from Michigan. It's been brutal.

Ordered January 5, 2010.
Built April 26, 2010.
Scheduled arrival week of May 10, 2010.

Any day now.

Ho hum... I wish I could at least find out what week they plan on building mine. Guess I'll just keep looking for a window sticker. I didn't order anything special. Pretty plain Jane really. Must be the Stone interior. That's the only thing that is at all uncommon about my order. Only options were comfort package and spoiler delete on a GT premium couple.

No, I really like the Raptor, discussed it with my Wife but it'd be a shame to buy that cool of a truck bred for off/road just because I thinks it's one tough *****#%^&.

I'll start a thread in other Fords and post up some mud pics when the truck gets here, and it rains again. Unfortunately no desert around here to speak of. Just wide open cow pastures.

What color did you choose? I'm a sucker for black with that mud appearance package.

I went with the Molten Orange. Since it was an SE and all.

I've got two black cars already, it was hard to resist the black. Nothing like a big, bad, black truck. But I liked the orange. Looks like the old red orange crayons we had as a kid, except it has the pearl coat finsh to it.

I saw one in that color on the freeway, had to honk and give him the thumps up. But, he had the 5.4, bet he's pissed now.

Yeah. The 5.4ers laugh at us and say they're enjoying their trucks for 6 months while we've been waiting. And the 6.2ers are ready to meet a 5.4 at the light and show them what $3k more would have gotten the 5.4ers.

It's like the whole male world measures displacement and horsepower like its their **** or something.

Some of the 6.2L guys are having badges made, because Ford didn't put a 6.2L badge on the truck like it did on the show trucks. They want to be able to distinguish themselves from the others. It's a little pathetic.

Scott -- mine has the stone interior and it's supposed to be here, oh, this weekend or so.

My guess is it's the spoiler delete.

Ramp "5M" huh ... interestingly my dealer said my cars was at ramp "5P" as of last Saturday. I assumed this was a typo and he meant ramp "51" which is the only ramp I had seen mentioned before.

Just called him now and the status is still ramp "5P".

Yes, my car was at 5P on monday with an "Awaiting shipment" status and then was taken to 5M on tuesday with a status of " In transit ",which is the CSX transportation lot from what I have gathered.

My car was "in transit" for over two weeks while sitting in a rail car on that very lot. It may actually still be sitting there today even though it was built on 4/15! Don't be surprised if they load it into a rail car and it sits for a while.
