It's pretty insane what a tune could do to that car. This car will run low 12s and high 11s easily with just bolt ons and some weight reductions.

They were running at spin world. Did you see that poor shelby driver. Spun almost the whole way. His wife is really cool and they are great people. Wish I would of known they were going, the track is only about 15 min away.

The VMP 5.0 has plenty of 60's left in it.

Thanks, and btw VMP's car ran Great, I didn't mean any disrespect, just thought they'd pick up more than One MPH, but 111mph Bone Stock is INCREDIBLE to begin with!!

Removing the baby seats would be a good start

Why remove the baby seats.. just take them along for the ride..

i was in the back seat of my dad's dodge dart at 4 years old.. at track listed below..

http://www.olddominionspeedway.com/O...trip_Main.html

of coarse that was back in the 70's (showing my age) but i've been bit with the speed bug ever since..

so my thoughts are.. teach them while they are young..

VMP is definitely one of the best tuners out there. Give Justin some time, he'll squeeze every ounce of available hp out of that new 5.0.

Ran a 12.44 on Friday with no other mods, just more seat time. Orlando Spin World, I mean Speed World isn't the best track either.

You know I didn't pay too much attention to the difference between the run stock vs with the their tune. I got overly excited that the car was running 12s in general that I neglected to notice their tune was not as impressive as say the one by Evolution Perfomance.

How the heck can you tell if one persons tune is better then another's by watching a video? You'd really need to have Evo's and VMP's cars there on the same day. Driving each of them to get a feel for driveability and such.

Yeah you're right, videos don't really do much justice. It will be nice once more companies like Bama and Brenspeed start coming out with tunes and hopefully there will be better comparisons for various tunes in videos or through reviews. I'm new to the whole "tune" thing so I guess you can say I'm being a little ignorant . I mean no disrespect to those who are trying to get more out of our stangs.

We never ran the car stock, it always had the tune in it, that was just higher shift points and some other adjustments on the subsequent runs.

We will be back there this Friday to do more testing. So far this is one of the fastest auto cars out there for the mods.

Well there has been claims of a couple auto's of going 12.5 stock with street tires. Hard to belive as i see most going 12.9 at best.
