My car is 15 miles away from the dealer I went through. Came in around 4 am and cleared to unload just before 9 am. Now, I have the waiting game with the trucking company.

Looks like my ETA got moved back 6 days, from 6/21 to 6/27. My dealer sent me the following, which looked pasted from a screen he was accessing, can anyone decipher?:

"In Production Trim Line Autoalliance International Inc, MI Jun-10-2011, 00:00 EDT Jun-27-2011"

I am guessing Autoalliance International is maybe the trucking company? (my window sticker says "convoy", good buddy)

Incidentally: "Happy Build Date to me, Happy Build Date to me..." (my build date is today 6/13 according to the window sticker)

Autoalliance international is the plant in Flat Rock where it's being built.

I have a question...FCS says my car is in "transit" my dealer says the VVR says "recieved-rail" is it on the train or is it waiting to get on the train? Anyone have info?

Just called FCS and got my railcar #82138, Ramp 41. The transit company is Allied systems, currently in Newark, NJ. ETA still remains at Tues June 21st.

im still going on from march lol its supposedbto be "in transit" but im not sure if that means its on the train or not...my dealer says the VVR says "recieved rail" does anyone kno if this means its on its way home?

I don't know about that. Ordered 12/6/10, built 5/20, released from plant 5/29, loaded in Monday, still waiting to hear it's in transit. Hopefully Ford's best employee (Deysha), will tell me that today! Everything x'd

Am I able to retrieve the tracking info and rail car number without bothering with my dealer (i.e. calling up FCS?)

Yes you can. All you need is the Vin# and they will tell you the status of your car

From what I understand, FCS can give you everything up to in transit. Only the dealer can request the rail car #. The rail car number should have 4 letters followed by numbers to be able to track the rail car. If you can get the full rail car number I can let you know hopefully when it comes into Newark. I have railroad contacts and work 1/2 mile from the railcar delivery point. Without the full rail car info. its useless.
