Video Highlights of track day at Gingerman Raceway

Here is a video of a track day I did this weekend. My wife helped me edit the footage and add captions (thanks babe!). Here are the highlights of the last of 5 sessions for the day.

I'd also like to give a shout out to Roush. They advertise that they test their products on the street and track, and sure enough they had quite a few cars at Gingerman Raceway in Michigan this weekend. There was a 2015, a few 2011-13s and a few 2008-9 cars as well.

Here are a few photos as well. I was chasing a Roush stage ?? Mustang for a few minutes in the video. Till I held a correction of a power slide for too long. Ooops! Lots of cool cars were there this weekend. Racing season is finally open!

Very nice - little "oops" at 8:25 or so but looks like lots of runout and the only way to improve is to push it!!! Guessing you only ended up with a bit of grass in the fenders. Otherwise, nice driving and looks like a lot of fun!!!!

You need Harry's Lap Timer or something for some nice data overlay!

Looked fun!
What did the white mustang have done to the motor it seamed to pull real hard on the straights, then you would reel it in during the corners!

I liked the oops!
Don't know where the edge is until you go off!

Yeah, just my GT500s were quiet compared to the rest.

Thank you sir. And yes, nothing major. Got checked out for stuff hanging off and I was back in no time.
P.S. I had Track Addict, but it never recognized the start lap. I missed out on 3 sessions of data logging because of it. Last year I had a Galaxy S4, and it worked awesome with the free version of Track Addict. This year I had a iPhone5S (work phone) and Track Addict did not work with it

Not sure. It was a Roush, so it may have had major help under the hood but I wasn't sure. One thing I can tell you I was gas pedal to the floor with 3.73s in 3rd, 4th and 5th, and it still just pulled away.

Any cosmetic damage after going off the track like that? It looks like you may have hit that cone too.

None at all. I went off fairly straight, and just skid on the grass a little. Car was completely clean by the time I got back to the pits. No grass anywhere. And the cone cleared under the car too
