Here's the drive video from the Costco parking lot to the Macy's parking lot between the shoots. The first right turn at the red left that's a cop car in left lane. Jed (JiveFive0) drove behind because it's his camera and he doesn't have an exhaust yet. You can hear him get out of his car to check if the camera was still there lol.
LOL
yeah sorry all about the static, not sure if the MIC on my gopro is messed up. looking online to see if there is a way to remedy the wind and crackling.

Great pics and videos! Those exhausts sound great on both cars!

JF0: I have a GoPro Wide and have a lot of trouble with the wind noise also. I asked GoPro about it once, and they said (on mine, with a solid case) to drill a small hole in the case near the mic. on the back, the stuff a little cotton or a small piece of foam, like from a boom mic. loosely over the mic. That should help reduce the wind noise. Sorry... I haven't actually tried that yet. I use one of the stick-on mounts and have the GoPro in the center of my dash looking forward. You can hear some interior sounds pretty well, and since it's behind the windshield, you don't get nearly as much wind noise.

hey Ronin, thanks a million man, that tip helped out tremendously! It still had some crackle at really high speeds but it didnt have it like before.
Do you have the white seal on? I noticed with it on you can barely hear nothing. so i run it without it, which helps with sound but i guess the mic gets overwhelmed.

But yeah man, kudos to you for the great tip.

Glad to hear it helped! (Now I'll have to try it... ) Did you use some cotton, or foam? Any samples posted up yet?

Yes, you'll get more sound without the white seal, that's for waterproofing if you take it under water. Not recommended if you've drilled a hole in the case now.
