[Video] 2012 Navigation Voice Recognition flaw?

Has a hard time interpreting capital letters vs small letters...flaw or not?

Maybe it is because you have two items named Home. Have you tried deleting one?

I need Ford to set my SYNC lady up to understand my Southern dialect. It's mighty tuff ya'll.........

Hahaha. Better than my dads boat accent. His Toyota highlander almost set itself on fire when he was using voice commands.

I guess the car assumes your going to spell things properly and not in all CAPS

This is how the system is supposed to work. It assumes that any word that is all upper case is an acronym or something similar, meaning that you would say it H - O - M - E.

This isn't a flaw. As RyleyinSTL stated, this is the way the system is designed. It's not able to recognize words that are in all capital letters and therefore words that are input that way must be spelled out when giving a voice command.
