I know that people who are waiting get upset about different things but this is what bothers me the most. Three week order/build/delivery vs. eight weeks and counting.
I'm not canceling, blaming my dealer, etc, but Ford needs to do better. This is the second time ordering a car from them and both times I feel like there's no information, no fairness, and no communication (not from the dealer but from Ford and the factory). Remove the internet and I'd still feel the same way if my neighbor rolled up in his new GT saying, "ordered it 3 weeks ago and it's already here!" It stinks just like the whole negotiated price thing. There are better ways to do business from start to finish. "It's too hard" is no excuse.

Grats to him, but good grief, that speed is just a little ridiculous. Most of us took longer than that just to get the cars down the assembly line, let alone shipping.
Oh yes, and also... And so it was, that a car was ordered after mine and was delivered before mine.

maybe cars with all the options take more time due to the amoutn of supplies of them or somthing. This car was bare minimum car. Of course i am just speculating. Who knows why some take a long time and some are fast.

While I am happy for your customer, that is a slap in the face to those of us waiting "patiently" for our cars. Mine was also ordered early Feb, built May 14th and currently in limbo.
There just seems to be no rhyme or reason to what is going on, only wild rumors floating around.

Yeah that's sad for guys who's cars were built april and early may that still don't have their cars yet. I will see what the rest of the week brings, then take a hard look at things. Ronn
