VALENTINE'S DAY MODS

Wifey asked me what I want for valentines day.... so Monday I'll be ordering tuner with cai and short throw shifter. Should be a completely different beast in a week or so.

I didn't really plan on doing any performance mods as the car is already way more capable than my skill set will allow me to fully explore. But more is always better. So these seem like good bang for the buck that will be enjoyable everyday.

Next gotta save a few bucks to invest in handling upgrades with Sam.

What cia and tune combo are you going with? And are you going with the Steeda or Barton short throw?

You, of course, suck.

Remember: Sharing your post-install impressions is a must.

Eric, you have something thats very, very rare. You have whats called a "Good Wife" . I have gone through 3 and none of them were worth a 'Crap' .

Your going to love your mods.

Thanks everyone. 90% solid on steeda tune and cai. Really like the look of the Barton shifter. Called both on Friday but it was a little late as they are both on East Coast time and i am on Pacific time.

My wife is pretty awesome. We actually work together at our gym (used to be my gym) and it's a pretty great set up.

Zilla congrats on your Kenne Bell, I'm assuming many of us will be getting blown for V-day, but only you are getting hardware. Congrats!

Wow, you DO have a gr8 wife, or else maybe you've not been married that long (17 years & counting for me)!

Of course you realize all the V-Day treats for you means you have to come through with some goods for her.

Grats on the mods, you'll love the Steeda tune and CAI, just make sure you have the latest tune revision . Gotta check these struts with Sam, that would be my nest mod. Then i'm done, that's it, finished, over with.......

These Laguna Seca wheels look really cool !!!!! Hum......that'd be my fourth set of wheels.....

She's awesome and 16 years for us!!! As per spoiling her for v-day as well, it's already taken care of. I have a policy of bringing roses at least once per month for no reason. For v-day I pretty much go all out.

YOUR GONNA LOVE THESE UPGRADES!!! I'm saving up for the exhuast, want something alittle more agressive sounding. Also saving for the short shifter. That should hold me for a few months i guess. yeah yeah yeah wife says " it's a new car why do you need to do these things to it"...lol

Scheduled an appointment for dyno and install this Saturday. First up put it on the rack and do shifter. Hopefully car will cool down a little. Then run a baseline. After that, cai and steeda tune and follow up dyno. I'm really curious to see what my real world gains will be.
