V1 with Blendmount and Invisicord installed!
Excellent mounting, best I've seen ... now can you pivot your mirror up higher so the whole thing does not hang down so low ??
On my SN-95's, I made a mount that screwed to the metal window frame behind the headliner to mount my old-school Escort "above" the mirror. It was a slim bracket that the visor style mount sliped onto and was very stealthy. Can't do this on an '05-up because that silly dome/map light is now there.
As my Escort was radar only, I stopped using it a couple of years ago anyway when I noticed all the cops along my commute route were using only laser. I've been doing fine ever since, keep my speed at 10 over the limit (max) and no one ever bothers me.

http://www.blendmount.com/ - mount
http://www.invisicord.com/index.html - cord
blendmount.com sells the invisicord too but for $10 more than getting it from the maker.

I'll probably do the same with my V1 but living in VA makes a permanent mount almost pointless. I think the radar detector ticket is now $200. Just enough to make it not worth getting caught with one. Of course speeding tickets are a bigger pain and can vary plus or minus that $200 and include points and insurance "adjustments." But it's hard to take something like that down when you see a LEO in your mirror.
The instructions that come with it are generic.
Yellow to blue and black to black for the Stang.
Pic is from an Edge but Stang is the same I believe.
