And I would say black leather and Electronics Package, but I am biased...

I know this is my first post here at TMS but I do want to weigh in on this one, only because I am going through the same decision, just not on the seats. I have many different reasons for inclining towards including the Electronics Package.
Everyone in this post has named off all of the good reasons so I will go off of my own experiences:
I used to do professional audio installation while I was in college, went to a school for it and everything so I am familiar with all the best Pioneer/Priemer, Alpine, etc.. systems. All great with Pioneer leading the pack in all technologies. Not an opinion, this is the truth, they put millions upon millions into their Nav system work. Alpine is in a close 2nd but this is beside the point. NONE of the aftermarkets can compare to the modern integrated systems. Some are really great but even my 2003 Honda Accord has all electronic functions routed through it. I won't even get started on my 335i with iDrive Nav, good god.
All this being said, I would have to say that Ford's is the best in my opinion. I love our BMW's, it is incredible but I feel Ford's new system is more intuitive and easier to use, whether that is with the phone (I have never seen a NAV system that has a text reception, but Ford's does), or just basic NAV functions. Super easy and the big screen is great. It even does split screen!
Second note is that since I used Blue Force Tracker (GPS Based Battlefield Tracking System) in Iraq, I love having access to the map data if I want to make my own route. It also gets me familiar with areas I am not so much, very quickly.
Third, I am an Electrical Engineer, this should answer its self.
I really hope I can afford the NAV because I really want it. The 2010+ Mustang is turning into a premier car. A legitimate force against the best Euro/Japanese contenders. This is why I chose the 2011 Mustang as my new car. I sat in it and fell in love.
The seats...if I were you, I'd go Black on Cashmier, it looks pretty nice.
Personally, I love the old school look the 400A pkg brings to the car with the leather. I on the other hand am still trying to decide between Black or Saddle, it's much tougher than I thought it would be. I would really like the Sport Seats out of the 335i put in the Mustang, they are snug and nice.
Don't know why, just think the stripe down the center of the seats is gimmiky, sorry guys, I just do. Wouldn't turn it down though, still like the interior.
Just my piece. Too verbose, my bad, I'll keep my post minimal from here on.

Haha, well, unfortunately I was transportation. 88M. We did convoy escort. Never went the smart route there. Sadly knew most of the EWO's jobs from an electronics stand point. Pretty decent guys though. Mostly NAVY. Unfortunately the bomb's still seemed to have found me before I found them! I was part of a Medium/Heavy Equipment unit, PLS Truck. Never damaged a single PLS, but destroyed an ASV and blew out a few tires/hoods of HMMWVs.

You know, Wamu has Aha! moments, I have OH F*CK! moments.
Always good to guage your scale of intensity, the OH #@$%'o meter.

Yeah, me too! Oh, and my wife was pretty happy. The worst part about the demolished ASV was that I noticed about three prior spots where tire shreds were laying in the road, somewhat concentrated but not piled or anything. Just looked like an 18 wheeler had blown a tire, which wasn't abnormal since they are so crappy over there. Anyway, about the 4th time I saw it again, I pulled my head away from my night scope and all I got out of my mouth instead of STOP! was Ehrr.. While watching a ball of fire blow straight through the armor and from one side of the cab to the other. It was my first HOLY GOD moment, guess I'd better accept it.

I can only imagine how much of a OH $@$%'% moment that would be man. They didn't have MRAPs back when you deployed did they?

Sorry guys, not trying to hijack the thread or anything. I hope my original post was of use. It's hard to hate something you enjoy so much! So I'll take whatever as long as it's manual and has the Brembo package!
Yeah, they were just implementing the MRAP. I read it in an ARMY times while I was there. We did have JERRVs and Buffalos though. Not sure the nomenclature for the Buffalo but they were incredible. IED Hulks is what they were. Too bad it turned out to be a Decepticon.

To get Travel Link, it's $6 a month, on top of a subscription. I'd probably just pay annually, and save a little bit of money for it and get both.
After a little more talking, I do think it's worth getting the Elec. Pkg and sticking with the black/cashmere interior. I was torn, but after hearing some other viewpoints, including those who own it and use it, that it makes sense. Thanks again for the discussion.

I haven't ordered yet. Waiting for the kinks to get worked out and for clear info from my connections that production has gone smoothly. I may even wait for a Job #2 2011 GT, just so that any unexpected things don't pop up.

I just remembered a related conversation I had with a friend last summer. I was telling her about my plans for getting a new Mustang and she told me not to get the navigation system. She knows nothing about the Mustang in particular but believes she's an expert in all things automotive. I won't go through the entire stupid conversation but the thing that was the most mind boggling was when I was trying to explain Sync to her. Yes, I know you don't have to have Nav to get Sync but I was explaining it anyway. She had never heard of it but she was absolutely positive that it won't play MP3s unless they were ripped from very new CD's. She also told me that car companies trick people into buying navigation systems and then once you have finished paying the car off, they cut you off from the nav satellites, until you send them some more money.
