Tune for Throttle Body?

Is there a specific variable that can be altered in a tune if you have a throttle body that will increase performance or is it just that your normal tune in conjunction with a throttle body will net you gains?
I recently installed mine as well as an aluminum driveshaft. The DS first and my 0-60 time was the same as before 4.9s. After installing the tb I loaded up new 93 hybrid tune from Bama that I had noted there was a BBK throttle body and my time has increased to 5.2 every run. I had started a thread pertaining to the tb being the issue, but this is more just me asking if the tb has to be accounted for in the tune.
Thanks guys.

Yes, we definitely need to know if you have a throttle body on your car when writing your tune. We can make the proper adjustments so your motor can adjust for the new amount of air flow your throttle body is pushing into the motor!

Your 0-60 time's should definitely not increase, you should notice a big decrease in 0-60 from those two modifications! Please give the Bama team a call and they can look into your tune for you. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
