TTAC tells TTAC to shut up
...I'm sure a lot of you remember the TTAC article a few weeks ago talking about how you can't buy an '11 GT because ZOMG direct injection! Must wait 'til '12!
Well, TTAC wrote another article (and another review) of the Mustang, this time an up-contented non brembo (vs. the base brembo car tested last time), but make sure you pay special attention to the last paragraph.

Suck it, Sajeev.

I don't care for TTAC much, but at least this guy has his head on straight. Sajeev is an assclown who whined about the motor for all the wrong reasons.
The other thing; that engine bay looks bland without the strut tower brace in there.

I wouldn't feel slighted if they threw DI on in 2012 or 2013. I can gain back the power through an intake/tune anyways. On the other hand, if it was something similar to what happened with the 2010s, I'd be a little more irritated.

A) Someone explain to me why there was a second review?
B) Someone explain to me how it was any more useful than the first?
After I read Lexus IS-F I wanted to quit reading. Talk about a car that's only good for the engine. I hate the IS-F. If I am going to pay that much money for a car, the interior could at least look and feel as good as a MB or BMW, not that of a 1995 Camry. Great car, terrible interior and daily ride quality..fail.
Wow, can Ford put IRS on the list so people will STFU about it. It was marginally successful in the Cobra..marginally. Still had it's own shortcomings. I enjoy the reviews but just like anything else, when you enjoy the finer things in life, only the best caviar will do. When you can read the reviewers opinion or attitude only a few sentences in, it makes things much less enjoyable.
Good notes are the engine is certainly still awesome!
My problem with TTAC is that it wishes it were Jalopnik. Jalop stole a lot of it's thunder. Not that it really had any.

DI isn't worth waiting for on an engine...
It's not some magic function that makes the care/engine better.
I think a lot of technology people take at the 'gotta have it' factor or it sucks.
"other cars have ____ so if this doesn't..pfff..obviously it sucks"

Back when I sold my expensive-to-own BMW 540i 6MT and replaced it with my CPO 2006 Honda Accord V6, I told people of that analogy of switching to Mary Ann (Accord) from Ginger (540i), LOL.
So this past June when I got my 2011 GT, I told my friends that I'd traded in the ol' Mary Ann for........Megan Fox!!
So my answer to you is neither - it's Megan Fox! (apologies for the Camaro aspects)

I'm in the military, it's a poor place to be when one is fed up with acronyms. Even worse, I'm navy attached to an army unit... I have to know both navy AND army acronyms. It's just ridiculous.
