I like it (pic 4).

And I also liked the third person reference, goes well with 'Big Papi'. Bring it back on your next mod.

I didn't think this would be so popular. I'm glad everyone likes it and that I can contribute to the forum. I have to go by some stock in 91-93 mustang dash emblems!

I agree with centering it in that last pic. I think I'll end up doing this very thing.

Dash Emblem Installed

Took everybody's advise I centered on the lower panel. Little piece of 3M car tape and done.

Looks great there!

But wouldn't it become a projectile if the airbag is ever deployed?

Emblem is plastic not metal and its held on by 3M bonding tape I'm going to need a jackhammer if I ever want to get it back off.

Looks perfect. Question, do you think you will damage the finish to the airbag cover if you ever want to move it? I'm considering copying you on this one....looks like it was meant to be there from the start. Nice.

I don't think so, get a little piece of fishing line go behind the emblem go back and forth a few times cut the tape and use like a goo- gone or something to remove what's left on the dash. If it were plastic I would worry but this is brushed aluminum and hopefully it dosn't have some sort of finish on it that you would rub off with the solvent. Somebody chime in if they know different on the aluminum dash piece.

Paul

Hey Paul, I see you are in Westchester. I grew up in Eastchester, but lived in Tarrytown, New Rochelle, White Plains, and Yorktown, before heading south.

Wow !! What a small world. Too bad you don't live up here any more the Lake Isle car show is next sunday in Eastchester, I'm thinking about entering just for fun and conversation. I just came from a car show in Bedford Hills @ Fox Lane High School they had some classic Stangs there, I should have took picks. They had a 66 Vert looked like it came of the showroom floor everything stock! I got a lot of looks with mine just in the lot, I should have entered it.
