Traded My 2011 Brembo for a 2013 Vert

Love the look of it, and I'm sure there are more cool things to come! But question about your "smoother and easier to drive" statement. Was it the gears/manual or the brembos that were the issue in the 2011? I'm really curious on what you thought of the brembo package as I'm pretty set on getting an Auto. Thanks!

First, I loved my 2011 Brembo car. But, it was not the best riding Mustang on the original Summer tires. Excellent handling though. As for shifting, I was fine with it, but just wanted something a little different this time. I have been shifting for so many years now, I really appreciate just punching it and not having to downshift.
Also, after 30,000 miles the shifter bracket Ford uses gets weak, and you get gear lockout at high revs. I replaced the bracket with the Barton piece. That helped a lot to resolve gear lockout, but was very noisy. The factory piece looks like a tin horseshoe with a lot of rubber in the middle. That was great for noise, but had too much flex at high revs. The Barton piece is all Aluminum, so there is no side to side flex, but also no noise damping.

I'm glad you're enjoying your CDC LightBar on your 2013 'Vert! It's obviously a piece just for looks but it sure brings the car together. Congrats on your new Mustang!

Well, my pre-painted Cervini side scoops arrived on Friday. So here is the first photo of the car with them on. Another big mode is just over the horizon!

CDC Shaker Hood Scoop
Today I had the CDC Shaker Hood Scoop installed along with GT500 Mufflers. I will be adding a matte black stripe to the hood in the style of the 1970, which wrapped around the back of the scoop then forward to the lip of the hood, with a 1" stutter stripe.
Sorry for the garage shot, I will get some better photos shortly.
