Question Track Pack List and few questions.

So i picked up a base GT it came with an AIR RAID intake ( original owner put 4700 miles on the car )

Now i been beating my self to figure out what came with the car.

I doubt it has any other parts, i know its not brembo, i know it does not have 3.73s at least thats what i know...

Now comes the questions?

I understand that the track pack cars come with oil cooler, bigger radiator( is this true ) stiffer suspensions, and a diff cover with fins, and heavier oil 5-50 vs 5-20.

Now my question is ... can anyone break down the list of parts that came with the TRACK PACK Cars?

Also how much of a difference would it be if i decided to put custom parts on my car instead of going with the exact track pack parts?

I want FRPP K spring or Eibach Pro Kits ( i know sprotlines will be to stiff )

Non adjustable Tickiko Struts & Shocks ( maybe adjustable ) still figuring out my budget.

Thicker sway bars from eibach

The Diff Cover is only 139

the oil cooler is 139

and i have now an option a FRPP BOSS Radiator for 459 or a MOSHIMOTO Full aluminum racing radiator for 249?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I had tried to search the forum.

you can simply look up your vin and pull your full window sticker and see exactly how your car was ordered. Someone should have the link.

A track pack starts out with the Brembo brake package
Front: 14" Brembo® Vented Rotors with Brembo® 4-Piston Calipers
19 x 9.0-inch dark-stainless premium painted aluminum wheels
255/40R19 Pirelli PZero Summer-Only (Coupe) or P255/40ZR19 Goodyear F1 Supercar (Convertible)
Different Springs (131lbs Front / 167lbs Rear)
Different Struts/ Shocks (tuned for spring rates)
GT-500 Rear Lower Control Arms ( Higher Durometer Rubber)
Unique Electronic Stability Control® (ESC) Tuning
Unique Sport Steering Control Setting (EPAS)
then they added the Boss 302 radiator and oil cooler and Torsen rear end with the 3:73's
and yes they do use 5-50 oil

The diff for the track pack cars is a Torsen. The GT just has a regular limited slip. Adding the diff cover is not the same thing. It does have the Boss radiator and oil cooler with 5W50 oil. No where I have been able to find accurately lists all of the included parts on a track pack car. I found a wed site www.brembo50.com that seems to be legitimate, but not directly linked to Ford so take it for what it is worth. If there is someone out there with Ford info... Not he said she said stuff... I would Love to know!

I got the window sticker, however i tried figuring it out... If i went the aftermarket route can i make the car even better than what factory did? Other than the torsen diff?

Like a fluidine or moshimoto radiator, diff cover, different lower control arms, phanard bar, etc?

I just want to make sure that i wont have a crippled car... However i wish i got the brembos...

Not really, hehe. The one thing that throws me off is that my mustang sits lower than the factory base gt. That is what making me confused.

Why would you make all those suspension changes if you aren't going to exercise them? Do you just want to manage the ride height?

What Ford put together is an excellent package for more than street use while still retaining some degree of sensibility to manage occasionally track use. However, depending on your objectives, you can mix and match other aftermarket parts to do things like remove brake dive, lower the ride height, reduce braking distances under hard stops, manage brake fade, etc.
