Track ordered vehicle by VIN Number?

Friends - can anyone provide a Web site etc that lets you track your new vehicle order once you have received the Vin Number from your friendly dealer person? Thanks!

There is someone that is PAID to track your car. That's your DEALER. The guy on Blue Oval does it for FREE, doesn't get PAID for the hassle. So if you don't like the rules, deal with your dealer. Simple.

It's 10 posts, not a 3 page essay. The least you can do is PRETEND you care before you use people.

You are Right OAC-Sparky, Cyberdman does an outstanding job helping people track their vehicles for free, I still disagree with the ten post rule! And I understand that I need not use this FREE service.... Have a Nice day!

I understand it can be a PITA but I can understand why they do it -- I used to track there before Cyberdman started.

The problem is people learn about BON on any number of forums, go there, DEMAND tracking updates on a daily basis and then never come back again after they receive their vehicles. Some -- not all. But it's very frustrating, nonetheless. Cyber (nor I) EVER asked for anything from anyone for doing the service except a little understanding and gratitude. Not everyone can see that and while the 10-post rule isn't ideal it's the only available solution to stem the number of "drive by tracking requests".

While I would appreciate any effort this fellow made on my behalf, I am not sure why there has to be human intervention here? In this good old age of computers and everything online, what I was looking for was a Web site where I could plug in a VIN and the info would be automagically received. Still looking for that I guess...

You have to work for ford to access the fleet website in order to view that info. I've never heard of any other way.

I can Now understand your Point of Veiw! They Do (Customers) over at BON ask a lot, Almost every day you see alot of customers wanting that info (BUMP) every single day. Would be nice if Ford offered a service for a price or Free to see where your vehicle is at! Most new cars now have GPS.. Once your Vehicle is operational, Ford Logs in your Info and sends you the GPS coordinates on your car! Heck If Our Uncle Sam can track Santa, Why not a new Mustang :-)

Ask your dealer/salesman for the Vehicle Visibility Report. It is run daily and the sales manager or internet folks can look it up anytime.
