You only get the strut tower brace with the brembo package or if you get 19" rims.

The brace comes on cars with 19" wheels and all convertibles. Coupes with 17's or 18's do not get the brace.

Were your 19" wheels dealer installed?

Does your window sticker have the optional 19" wheels listed? If so, it sounds like someone at the dealership jacked the STB. Maybe a customer with 18" wheels wanted it and they thought you wouldn't notice.

Seconded, you got jipped somewhere.

If it had been removed there would be evidence of it, the paint on the top of the strut tower would be marred where it was bolted on.

Perhaps the OP's car was built at the factory with 18" wheels (thus no STB), but the dealer installed 19" wheels after it arrived?

Otherwise, if it was built at the factory with 19" wheels and there is no STB, then it is a "misbuild" and you got jipped.

If it is indeed supposed to have a STB and it doesn't, hopefully your dealer would hook you up if you went in with proof that it was supposed to have one (you could take in the 2011 Mustang Order Guide, or something else that indicates it is supposed to have one). Basically, you paid for something you didn't get...if they appreciate your business, they'll provide one for you at no cost. However, you would have to confirm that they didn't install the 19" wheels after it came off the production line because if so, you may have to shell out your own $$ if you want one.

Don't know where it's 4 sale for less but I'm sure you can find one.

Here is a link $159.95 free shipping.

sorry, I'm probably remembering it wrong, I have $119 stuck in my mind, but maybe it's actually $159 . . . try the usual places like American Muscle, e-Bay, etc . . . there were some posts on here with a couple places that have better prices on Ford stuff, I might have seen it there, don't remember exactly, sorry
