Which tires arrived with the 2012 CS ?
I test drove two 2011 Mustang CS, and both arrived with 245/45R19 all seasons Pirelli P Zero Nero.
For 2012, it seems to be a different story. According to the build tool on both Canadian and US website, the California Special arrived with 255/40R19 summer tires....and this information is confirmed with the information sheet my dealer gaves me, with the order of my 2012 CS convertible.
For some reasons, according to the 2012 Mustang Brochure, the CS still arrived on 245's tires....so which one is right or wrong ?
If the CS arrived finally with 255's tires, which brand/model is it ? The Pirelli Nero's all seasons doesnt exist in 255/40R19, so hopefully it will be better tires, better summer tires.....maybe the same as the Brembo package tires ?
Any idea ?

Yeah but for a street tire they got very good grip. And i have to mention that they do a really good job in wet conditions.
I have 3 mm left on the rear axle after 6500 Km including ~ 300 km Nuerburgring Nordschleife and ~ 100 km Hockenheim GP-Course![Big Grin](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I guess that i´ll finish them this weekend after another 300 Km Nuerburgring![Frown](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
270 € are called for one mounted tire here in germany.... i already ordered two new ones.
Cheers Dennis

I dont mind tire's wearing quickly since it's only my summer week-end car, as long as they grip well.
For me I believe the Michelin Pilot PS2 would be the best overall tire for my future stang...

Right now I drive Continentals on my both VW and love those tires. They are as quiet as Michelin, with two third of the price.....

If you can get tires that do what you need them to do and are perfectly good quality then why would you want to pay more than you need to???

I, too, will probably buy Michelin Pilot Sports to replace the factory tires once they wear out.

The treadwear number iirc is 600 or something. I read nothing but good reviews about those tires and if my budget would have allowed I would have them in my car. I believe I remember 50000 miles people were getting out of them. Again I am going from my Swiss cheese memory and may be mistaken

There's hundred of Michelin Pilot Types....the PS2 treadwear is 220....
When you want good performance, you have to sacrifice the longevity.....

For me it's much better to get 255/40ZR19 summer Pirelli Tires than 245/45ZR19 all seasons Pirelli Nero Tires. First of all, I'll be driving the car in summer only, and also the Nero are not the best tires Pirelli made....

Last night, I looked at the 2012 CS at my dealer and it has the 245/45 Neros. PS, the General UHPs were some of the best all around tires I've ever ran. I went with the BFG SuperSport A/S this time and wish I stuck with the Generals. I was skeptical too. The Hankook V12s are supposed to be really good too.

Yes, that makes sense. I will be driving mine all year, it will be my only car, so I prefer the all-seasons.
