No, the PZero Nero All-Season will wear much longer (though at the expense of less dry grip).

Nice plug for the amazing Miata.net. The Car Talk section there is worth a visit even if you have no intentions of owning a Miata. Many smart, good folks overe there... and a few a-holes too... but it's the internet! What do you expect?

For those of you guys who are burning these tires up with so few miles, how hard are you pushing them? Are you rotating them?

That's pretty absurdly low for a production tire.

I'm not looking forward to the cash layout coming so soon but this thread is helpful. I have had very good luck with Hankook tires on other cars and I would definitely give them another shot for the replacement tires on the GT.

Put some 275 Hankook v12's on the rear Saturday AM (had to order 255's for front) great look and seems to hook up better aka less spinning. Thanks to all who suggested them, I think for about half the money, I'll end up with similar lifespan and 90%+ grip.

Excellent, please post back once you've driven it a couple of weeks to give us an update! I'm thinking going the exact same setup as you once my stockers get worn down.

+1 for the V12's. A buddy of mine just put a set on his evo and he loves them.

This is what I run. 275/35/19 on all 4 corners on my Brembo wheels.

I have 3 good stock Pirellis if you just need a couple to hold you over.

I'm located up in the Bay Area, so shipping wouldn't be too bad.

I finally decided that I am going to order some 275/35 Michelin Pilot Super Sports in a month or two.

Still torn between the V12s and the Conti DW's. Both seem like fantastic tires for the price.

So can you actually run a 275 on the front without rubbing?

They'll be my next tire on the Mustang. Had em on my GTI and have several buddies with them on 370 and 350Z's. Great tire for the $$$

As requested, I'm posting my thoughts. I really like the look of the 275's in the back. They really fill out the wheel wells better. Ultimately a 400+ hp car needs more rubber than 255s. I seem to be able to launch much harder with less wheel spin on fast upshifts to second and third.

The first hundred mile or so, they would follow grooves in the freeway. It was a little scary. That seems to have passed.

Over all I have Hankooks at all four corners 275s at the rear and 255s up front. Assuming wear is similar or slightly superior to the Pirellis I will be very pleased with the purchase.

Thanks for the update! I think I'm sold - Hankook 275's in rear and 255's in front for me when my stock Goodyears wear out.

My plan for the RTRs when they come in.

How are the hankooks at road noise/comfort. I must say I think the stock PZeros are pretty darn good.

I haven't really noticed a significant difference after the first 100 break in miles.

How is the handling compared to the PZeros? Is it as responsive?

Anyone try the Falken FK-452s as a replacement?
