installed the Magnaflow x-pipe that only replaces the stock h-pipe, no fitment or leak issues - it bolted right up

if you're talking about just an x-pipe it's very easy, do not need to loosen axle-backs

as for the sound, an x-pipe will blend the pulses more, reduce the cadence or knocking sound, to me it makes it sound smoother. It is very quiet at idle but sings above 3500rpm - x-pipe + hushpowers.
IMO, the previous 4.6 and 5.0 sounded better than this new one, I own(ed) both.

Overboost...

Car sounds stellar. So if I have this tale correct, you know how Borla S types with what type of X pipe?

And right now, I plan to install GT500 axlebacks, but possibly remove the resonators. Do you recommend leaving the res's and just go with x pipe? if so, what kind? I just love the tone of the GT500's, but maybe just a tad louder... if I could have it Roush loud, great... I just don't like the tone of the Roush's.

thanks.

Edit: I would like to keep my stock cats.

Currently, my car is a stock H-pipe at the moment. My Corsa X-pipe is at a fab shop being welded, but I should have it back later this week. Once I get it and install it, I will try to take some videos of it.

I'm actually saving for the Stainless Works Cat Back and a Lethal O/R X-Pipe. Love the tone of Stainless Works and I seem to be addicted to LOUD exhaust.

Anyone has a Roush + Heartthrob H pipe? I see a few vids on YouTube but either bad quality or boring start-rev-rev-end

I gotta say, I love the new sound out back with the Borlas. Still waiting on my X-pipe, hoping that the sound only gets better.

Great

Is it possible to record before and after? You have Borla S-Type axleback right?

Yes, vids please The GT500's and the Borla's were my only 2 options. I went with GT500's due to cost and tone.

I'm interested in seeing how the X-pipe sounds with them as well.

X-pipe is a Corsa pipe, but with the driver's side pipe welded instead of clamped.

Did you guys bother to read the original post? I've been running the Borla system for almost a month now.

Borla S-Type catback is the best sounding exhaust setup imo

I just wish it was as loud (or louder) as the Roush

Also, the cost is kinda eeek

Didn't you see the new upgrade that allows people to reply to a topic without even reading the thread?
