They should have used a 2011 Mustang for this commercial instead

Shame it's a Chrysler, 'cause it's an awesome commercial.

Agreed. But if Chrysler can't build competitive vehicles, maybe then can at least produce good commercials. In the end, it's the cars that have to succeed.

Interesting that Chrysler is about 55% owned by the UAW. I've owned a few Chryslers in the past ('88 Dodge D150 w/slant six, LOL, '93 Eagle Vision TSi, '94 Dodge Ram 1500 w/318ci, '95 Dodge Ram 2500 Club Cab w/8.0 V10, '97 Dodge Ram 2500 w/5.9L Cummins turbodiesel 5-speed, and '99 Dodge Ram 2500 w/5.9L Cummins turbodiesel 5-speed).

At various points in their history, they've made some standout vehicles, but would get over-confident and slip back into their typical complacency with being #3. I hope Chrysler succeeds with their turnaround (but they are going to have to put their cars on a serious diet!). Fiat has never been able to compete in a free market before and, even with the Chrysler distribution, I still question if they can compete now. It's sort of like two losers joining together trying to be winners. Maybe it's possible, time will tell. At least with Chrysler we (taxpayers) don't have $50 billion tied up in stock like we do with GM ...that's an entirely different story IMO.
