Theyre sending me a check for $37,000 I'm hoping it covers everything!
I feel like my dealership did NOTHING for me! No incentives no help at all! This is my second mustang from them. Is there any way I can negotiate a lower price or some type of cash back? Loyalty cash? What should I expect from them? How much can they really do?
order some brochures when it gets closer to coming in.

Drew was just being helpful. Try ordering a brochure within 60 days of when you'd expect to take delivery, and you may be surprized to find a "private cash" coupon included in the brochure. They're usually only good for 60 days, so don't order the brochure too early. I recently got $2250 in Ford incentives when we purchased our 2011 V6 MCA, which included a $750 private cash brochure coupon.

Lol, I'm so sorry . I thought you were just messing with me telling me that it's too late to negotiate anything.

Thanks I appreciate it!

Where can I order a broshure? My salesman said they already pulled it and are probably building it.

I got mine on the Ford website.

http://www.ford.com/brochures/

Did you get a vin, DORA or VOC? If you can see what Deysha ( one of the Ford reps here) says, that can give us all a little more info on what is happening with the 2012s right now. I ordered mine a long time ago, and no vin or build date yet. As trustworthy as your salesman is though, I would personally want to see what Deysha says about the status before I believed everything the salesman said.

Go ahead and order the brochures now because it takes a week or two to come in. The last coupon I got expires 3/25/11. Also it doesnt matter about the year. Also you are not guaranteed a coupon so order a mustang brouchure then two others of any other vehicle because it could come in one of those and you could use it. You may have to order more brochures after you get those because you are not guaranteed one. If your married ordered 3 in your wifes name to. I believe there transferrable within the household. The max you can order at a time is 3.

I tried the brochure technique and no such luck, they just sent brochures, without the coupon.

Strangely, long before I got my car I got an unsolicited coupon in the mail, but of course it expired long before I picked up the car, FWIW.

I ordered three brochures (Fiesta, Edge and Mustang) a couple of weeks ago. I chose the 0-30 day buying option. All three showed up on Monday and all three have a $750 coupon. They expire on 4/1/11 which is before my 2012 will be here. I will try again near the middle of March.

Was the Mustang brochure a 2011 or 2012 model year? Are you able use the coupon towards your down payment?

2011. I don't think the 2012 (brochure) is available yet. And yes, I can use ONE coupon with the X-Plan (or as a down payment with no X-Plan).

Thanks for the tip. You can only use one coupon right?
it works like a rebate? They have no choice but to take it and subtract it from my already negotiated price when I come and pick up the car?
I hope I get one..I put 0-30 days because I'm sure it won't be 2 or 3 months more wait. Does the dealer get reimbursed later for the coupon?

Yeah pretty much like a rebate and you can only use 1 coupon. I am pretty sure they have to take it.

I just picked up a 2011 GT with 6 speed and 3.55.
I ordered brochures last week and the dealer had my name in the system for the $750 coupon. I still haven't received the brochure!
So I got the $2250 off and Xplan and had a few thousand in equity on the trade so I am
very happy.

I got tons of insentives on my 2011 I picked it up 1/3/11 the day they ended. I got 1,500 off the 750 coupon off and 500 off a dealership coupon after I made my best deal. They also tried to put me in a ford loan at 4.99 but I told them my band BB&t is offering 3.99, and they said we can do BB&T and gave me 3.99. Why they did not give me the best rate from the get go????? I feel I got a great deal so I got a bit better warranty and used some of the money to cover that.

Because the dealership gets paid more by the bank if they can get a higher rate on your loan.

Yeah, I know that, I just could not believe a person with great credit they would offer a rater higher than another they could have provided me. Just goes to show you need to be a super educated consumer when buying a new car or any car.
