I don't think my SYNC has ever been updated since I took delivery. If it has, I certainly didn't do it.

Seems to work pretty good other than not picking up that there's an iPod connected once in a while, not sure if I want to mess with updating it.

since I'm not too good with stuff like this, and was concerned with screwing up what I already have, I was at the dealer for the airbag recall, and asked the service writer about it. He said unless you have GPS, or no troubles with my now, (I don't) don't do it. I was going to pay them to upgrade it, and he refused my money. I'll take that as a "not necessary" item

Did my update last night. It went smooth but much faster then what was mentioned in the instructions. How can I check to make sure it got installed properly?

I have this update on mine. Was a little weird putting on. Mine did not follow the instructions, but went on smooth. Did fix a few of my issues. Seems to work better.

Do as the FORDIVTeam (Cara) suggests above. I got my updates (both 4.4 and 4.6) through the MyFord site at owner.ford.com. You will need your login.

I did the 4.6 update in November and, outwardly, the only change I've noticed was a change in the voice of "B****ing Betty", the munchkin who lives in my center stack. OTOH, it (and the car) still runs fine.

on sync my ride I don't have 4.6 for my 2014 nav unit and that last confirmed update was Gen1 - 4.2.1.T on March 8th, 2014 can anyone tell me why I don't have this update or 4.4?

I am in a unique situation where I just installed a 2014 nav unit into my car, so I'm using the vin from the 2014 the nav was taken out of for sync my ride. But I have ran vehicle health reports with the new system in my car, but no updates for either vin. But I'm pretty sure I need DL3T-14D544-AG as the version on my nav screen says DL3T-14D544-AD which is Gen1 - 4.2.1.T Which sucks because I want the updated bluetooth stuff at the very least.

DL3T-14D544-AG is 4.6, which I have in my 2014 with Nav and regret it due to issues with iOS. Between 4.2.1.T, 4.4 and 4.6, I found 4.2.1.T to work the best...

Finally downloaded 4.6 last night from syncmyride.com. Formatted a 4GB flash drive to FAT32, extracted the DR3T-14D544-AG.zip to the flash drive, and tried to install it to my car. After a few minutes I got a pretty cryptic failure voice prompt saying something along the lines of "Updated failed, there may be not enough space or it may not work with this version." Not enough space on what? The car? The flash drive? What might not work with this version? Tried it twice, and failed both times with same error message.

2013 GT Premium w/ basic radio. Currently have 4.2.1.4 (DR3T-14D544-AE) installed.

I still don't understand if I'm supposed to be able to use AppLink in a base Sync car (no touchscreen). Anybody?

I went to the above link and chose a 14 Mustang with no nav and it explains using voice commands or the little non-touchscreen they had on some cars.

Please is the last update for Mustang v6 2012 ? Because my sync is not working and i will reinstall the sync. The URL for Download on website Ford owner is not available because i confirme my update on 4.6 in 2017 and. I have the last update. Ford do not want me to reload the update because I confirmed the installation -_-
