Swapping out the rear valance

Or as Ford calls it, the lower bumper cover. I ordered the GT cover ($123 delivered) instead of just cutting the one on there now for the V6 Magnaflow dual exhaust. I suspect I wouldn't be happy with the cutting...

Anyhoo...is it worth paying a body shop an hour to swap that out? It looks straightforward... but I need it to be pretty well idiot proof.

I swapped my GT one for a GT500 .. takes less than 1 hour ... do it yourself. I put my GT rear valance on CL for $50 ... still for sale ...

Man do you ever need some bigger exhaust tips for that car!

Those stock tips are TINY in those big cut-outs...

how much was your gt500 one and what tools do you need?

Scored the GT500 Rear Valance on CL for $100 ... the only tool needed is a Philips Head Screw Driver.
