Swap Your Ride Campaign

I hope this link works. Non Ford vehicle traded for a Ford gets $1,000 bonus plus 0% financing. Read the article.
"when qualified buyers trade in non-Ford vehicles, they can receive $1,000 over and above the trade-in allowance on their current ride, as well as 0% financing."

Does a Mecury count as non-Ford?
But seriously....

Good on existing stock (existing when?) up until June 1st. I suppose it's possible a couple of folks who had their orders entered as stock...if they show up before June 1st, you might would be eligible, but I doubt that was Ford's intent.

Isn't that the deal they came out with to get pissed off toyota owners to trade UP to a Ford?

Man... this kind of makes me think about stealing a 2010. 0%, $1,000 over trade-in allowance, and the prices from Apple Ford.... You could get a '10 for real cheap.

if they would actually give me $1,000 over a REASONABLE (like Black Book) trade-in value for my Toyota Avalon, I would do it . . . but $1,000 on top of $0 doesn't really help much . . . worth looking into.

Did not see how long they would let you finance at 0% (not even in the small print), wondering if it is 36 months, 48, 60....72?

On 2010 Mustang GT you get:

$1,500 retail customer cash + $1,000 promotional retail bonus customer cash.

OR

0% financing for up to 60 months, 1.9% for 72 months.

Doesn't show anything for 2011 Mustang yet.

Interesting. I didn't see anywhere that xyz-plans are not applicable. 2500 off on top of x-plan is not a bad deal at all. If I absolutely had to get a car today I might consider that.

I think we are talking about two different deals here...
There is the incentives for the 2010 mustangs (in my area it is $1K plus $2K (vs. the $1.5K you posted).
But then there is also the swap your ride promo, which gives you $1K extra on the trade in and 0% APR. It is for this promo where they do not disclose the time of the 0% APR.

Also, I was figuring you could combine these (maybe I am wrong) but I view it as a promo for Ford (the $1K adder to trade in plus the 0% APR) then the Mustang incentives as well. So, yet another reason to go back and do some more cost analysis.....

Oh, and to bpmurr....you are the man, funny for sure!

Depending on where you are located you get different local rebates. Go to the link above and then scroll down and on the left hand side of the screed is a window. Put in your zipcode and they it will give you two offers one is the special financing and the second is the cash back/rebates.

I used the SYR campaign when I bought my 2007 Fusion. I was trading in a Ford and they still gave me the credit. Unless the rules have changed for this time around I'd say that you should be able to get the $1000 if you're trading in a Ford.

I looked into this with a local dealer regarding a 2010 GT and they told me it wouldn't do anything for me; they are offering a discounted price, but there is no additional discount or trade-in allowance for this program.

Not sure if it would be different for a 2011, or if that dealer simply does not know or is not cooperating.

Sounds like they're using the rebates to get their 'discounted' price.
