Anyone order from Summit Racing? I see they have the Borla S TYPE Exhaust listed for $657.95 for the 2011 and up Mustang Gt compaired to $759.99 at American Muscle. Thats a huge discount if you ask me and it includes free shipping.

 

I bought that exact product from that exact store about 10 days ago. They called me within about 4 hours to confirm shipping details and shipped the same day. Had the product in hand 2 days later. AmericanMuscle maybe could match that price, which I found a couple other places too, but I just went with Summit.

I love Summit, a lot more of choices, great customer service, and I've never had them ship the wrong item. I like AM too but I try to always buy from Summit, if I'm going exterior mod than I will go AM

 

Also I hate to say it but their sales reps seem to know more about their products, I've had AM send me products that I asked them to double check and make sure that it fit a '95 Cobra and they say yes and send it and it doesn't fit. After it didn't fit I googled the product number and sure enough only fits GT's. called Summit they sent the right one without any trouble

 

I ordered the same ones from Summit. They were a lot cheaper and free shipping! I was quite surprised because I'm overseas.

 

I bought from Summit Racing many times for my 97GT and few other cars... Great prices, great Customer Service, and great return policy.

 

Summit is amazing. My order usually arrives in 2 days or so. Free shipping and no sales tax - giddy up!

Sometimes Summit racing carries items that AM doesn't carry. I needed to order new exhaust tips for my Flowmaster Axle back Force II exhaust mufflers and AM doesn't sell replacement tips of any manufacturer. I ordered the tips last night from Summit.

 

Summit is great never a bad experience and über fast shipping.

 

They're clearly the price-no-object favorite of the guys on here, I'd say, and I cannot wait to hear them on mine as soon as it comes back from the body shop. Heard them on a lot of guys in the KC Mustang Club's cars, and they're sweet music to the ears.

 

I just got off the phone with Summit placing my order. The nice gentleman on the phone said they will ship today and I might get them tomorrow or Friday the lastest. Im stoaked!!!!! This is the first mod I have ordered for my GT/CS aside from the MGW shifter.

Now I have to get a jack and some jack stands and maybe if the weather is going to be as nice as is predicted to be this weekend I might be able to install them.

This will be my first exhaust install I have ever done, all others have been taken to shops. I have limited tools and as I said I need a jack and jack stands.

Can anyone suggest a good one or should I just go to Sears and buy a Craftsman and what ever tools I may need that I might not have??

TORMENTOR - hit Harbor Freight for nice jack stands and a jack for a great price. There is a store in my area and I love it. It is the equivalent to TJ Maxx for a woman.

 

There's a thread on here with great info on that - I'm on my phone so can't find it right now but the advice is buying one that's big and low profile enough to lift the car up not using the pinch weld used for the spare tire jack. Will try and find later and post.

Also, sounds like you FINALLY came to the dark side! Haven't I been telling you to get borla s types for like a year now ? Lol. You will absolutely LOVE them. I debating between adding the boss quad exhaust to them, or just shelling out and getting the full s type cat back (over axle pipe and x pipe). Did you see my thread on here?
