That's a neat little car. Years ago, when I wasn't making much money, that's the kind of stuff I used to drive. I Had a 1st gen Integra; a 2nd gen MR2. The Japanese companies have always been very good at making small cars with small engines that are reasonably priced and fun to drive.

What I don't understand though, is now that Nissan and Toyota have big, powerful V8s, why they don't develop a coupe to put them in.

Great video. The results at the track weren't surprising, although a better set of tires would have lowered the Subaru's times significantly, probably putting it ahead of the Mustang at that track. Then again, some of the complaints with the Mustang could have been solved with better shocks/struts, and on a longer track where its power could be used even more, it likely would have had a much greater margin of victory.

I've been a Mustang fan for 25+ years, I've owned four since 1988, but I've really grown to appreciate small lightweight good handling cars in the last ten years, and I did put a deposit down and order a BRZ a couple of months ago.

i seen that video on youtube a while ago.
BRZ is a purposely built inexpensive canyon carver.
Mustangs are good all-around, track and roads...

****, I REALLY like the look of that car. I wouldn't take it over a Mustang, but I wish I had enough money to have both to play around with. The looks of it remind me of a cross between a porsche and a supra.

I think I'd be interested in a supercharged version with around 275hp.

I'm thinking we may be seeing a lot of styling that will be similar to the 2015 mustang....

The BRZ and FRS are nice cars and I thought about getting one but didn't want to wait when I was getting a new car. Also after seeing the starting I price, think I'd prefer the stang but they are sweet little cars and maybe down the road I'd opt for one.
