Stock GT Wheel Weight? Need help quick!
Hey guys,
I'm seeing the weight of the stock 18x8 "bullit" wheel on a 2014 GT all over the place. I've seen 25 lbs, 26 lbs and 28 lbs. I know the weight of the stock 235/50/18 tire is 29 lbs (according to TireRack), but I want to make sure the wheels I'm looking at buying today are at least a couple pounds lighter than the stock ones.
I even called the parts counter at Tommy Vaughn Ford and they could not help me.
Your help is much appreciated!

Well you could just go with the lowest weight you found "25" just to be safe and then go from there. Or if you get the new wheels and they come out heavier u could just rub em against a curb to get them in under
jk, jk Seriously though best advice I can give is just assume the lightest weight.

I gotcha, but the wheels I have my heart set on at the moment are 25.5 lbs. The Ford parts online catalog says the 18x8 wheels are 28 lbs, but then you pull up the black 18x8 2008 bullit wheel on TireRack, and it says 25 lbs. Not sure why they would have made virtually the same wheel 3 lbs heavier, but maybe?

I mean, it's a Bullit style wheel. Crager, torq thrust etc. That style.
I figured someone would have their stockers laying around that they could weigh real quick if someone didn't already know. I'm surprised it isn't common knowledge at this point.
