Sterling Gray or Grey?

So which is it?
I've seen it spelt both ways, depending on where the person is from spelling it..

So we need to come to some conclusion on this site..

Grey or Gray

I think you're covered either way.

It's a Brit vs US view point.

USA:
Gray

Britian:
Grey

They're both acceptable.

Ford lists it as Gray, as with all their other Grays.

Grey is typically a last name whereas gray is a color. Typically.

I agree but I've always liked grey. Maybe just to be different. I'm weird like that.

Haha man...who knows. Either one then I guess. I've always used gray for my own spelling though.

I deal with people internationally with my hobby and not just native English speakers. At this point I've forgotten the correct American English spelling. Fortunately unless it's at work, I'm right either way.

Because much of the communication is done via email or chat it's very funny to "talk" to someone who types in near perfect English and when you meet them find out they can barely speak it.

In general the car is Gray. The color is named Sterling Grey. Sterling Moss is...well...not a color...and still...Sterling Moss but anyone see the point here? Sterling Grey is a prestigious way of saying Gray, it's what the color of the car reflects (not by light refraction either). Just like many colors, look at the Euro's, they have names for every freaking color except Black. Even then, there are other blacks.
