Is the steering wheel emblem removable? Mine had a small scratch that I saw the day after I took delivery (it can only really be seen when the wheel is turned all the way).

I have not looked at my 2011 wheel, but on my 2007 I had bubbles under the clear plastic portion of the steering wheel emblem and was told, by the dealer, the entire air bag assembly had to be replaced, as the emblem was not a separate part. Check this with the dealer ASAP as it should be covered by the warranty.

 

Yes it can be removed...Unfortunately you can't put a new one back on. At least not like the factory. I removed mine I don't want a silver disc in my line of sight and being part of the air bag you can't take it apart I just pried it off. I smoothed the surface underneath and glued a carbon fiber vinyl disc in it's place.
