Steeda Sport Springs W/15mm.Wheel Spacers

The 15mm wheel spacers move the wheels out just right on these 19s. One inch spacers push the rubber out past the fender lip, and is too much (IMHO).

Just to let anyone know the deal, if they choose to use 15mm wheel spacers on their 10 or 11. (This would probably apply to 05-09 as well). The H&R Wheel Spacers (Type DRS 15mm - 5/114.3), are actualy a DRM series. It is a catalogue mistake. DRM Series spacers bolt to the hub with existing wheel studs and special nuts (included). Wheel is bolted to new DRM wheel studs.

Because of this , you must have pockets between your wheel stud holes (on your wheels) I think all or most of the factory wheels have them. You still probably have to remove at least the non-threaded tips of the studs for the wheels to fit flush. The spare tire has a shallower pocket, so the spacer will have to be removed to use the spare.(Bummer).

All the research I read on these hub centric spacers, convinced me that they are safe. I won't track the car, but it might see the strip a few times. Steeda intalled these for me, and I drove back to N. FL. with no vibrations. ( I did these in combination with sport springs and panhard bar, CAI and Tune).

Thanx, The difference it seems with the FRPP -1" drop and the Steeds Sports, is the FRPP springs leave a little rake in the car and the sports level it.

Drop looks good.
Can't tell but it looks like you may need some tinted windows to add some nice contrast.
Black wheels or hyper black wheels would look hot too.
Oh and find some paved roads and keep her on them.

To late for me to edit in a side view photo, but there's a decent one in "My Garage".

Looks nice!!! Hub-centric wheel spacers are just as strong as the factory set-up. Its when people put the cheap none hub centric wheel spacers on, that use the 'lug bolts' to support the weight of the car is when the trouble starts.

Sweet looking car! White was the other color wanted to look at, but couldn't find any white 'verts in my city.

Are they spacers or adapters? I wouldn't feel safe if they are spacers. Going off your post looks like they are adapters, cool.

Well they would look like this:

cept I don't think AM sells the 15mm. They are German made -alu. mag. alloy, and all my research suggests they are completely safe if installed properly. They look great! IMO, (the one inch sticks out too far------unless thats your thing).
In theory, the car should corner better--mine sure does, although it probably is mostly from the sport springs.

The 15mm look good, really makes a difference. I run spacers on my Z, but I prefer using the type that replaces the studs, they are a bit lighter and I just feel safer with them. If I keep the stock wheel on the stang, I will definitely run spacers.

Looks fantastic. It is amazing what a difference that 15mm makes to the overall look of the car.

They are completely safe. I ran them on my VW R32 for years with no issues, even a few track days. H&R makes good quality products, mostly for german vehicles but none the less. There suspension kits are top notch as well.

Sorry for bringing up an old post.

Did you put spacers on the front also? If no, is it noticeable that the rear is wider than the front? Can't figure it out from the pictures.

I have the stock 18" polished mesh looking wheels and like them a lot. I don't want to pay $1800 for new wheels and tires, but I want to lower my car and I think the stock setup will sit too far in and look weird.

How much were they and where did you order?

Yes-on the front also. It does look like the rear is out a tad more.I think it is more of an illusion. Maybe they are originally, but not noticeable cause the gap being larger.

Got from http://www.optionimports.com/index.a...FromFeatured=1 but as 1st. post says, they don't look like the pic. They are DRM series. You might google and find a better deal. This Co. backordered a set, and it took a couple weeks.
BTW, Gus at Steeda saw a car with my wheels, with 1 in. spacers and told me in his OP it didn't look good. I'm glad i did just the 15mm.

Sorry to high-jack your thread, GJM..

But if anyone wants to buy these spacers, I have some for sale now, one box was never opened, and the others were just for test-fit.

These look great! The wheels come out JUST enough (not as far out as 1 inch variations).

You mentioned "you must have pockets between your wheel stud holes (on your wheels) I think all or most of the factory wheels have them. " Do you happen to know if these would work finewith the 19" Brembo Wheels , or would the nubs have to be shaved?
