Sprint Booster

Ok, first disclosure, I do not own a Mustang but even so I am a Mustang enthusiast. I have owned many in the past. Since were all car guys I thought I would share my experience with using the Sprint Booster throttle enhancer. Its available for the Mustang too.

I installed one in my Z06 yesterday and this thing freaking works! Like most cars that have the electronic throttle connection my Z06 had a lag or delay when you pressed on the gas pedal. The Sprint Booster completely eliminates this. With it installed there is no delay, the car just rockets forward. It feels like I just added 50 plus HP. In reality it adds no power at all, just makes it feel that way. The response is adjustable too. You have three settings, stock, medium, and race. I use medium for everyday driving. Race is a little touchy but it sure is fun!!!!

Install was easy on my Z06, can't comment on the Mustang. It's all plug and play. It installs inline between the stock wiring harness and the gas pedal.

My reason for posting this on this forum is to share info and experience with a great product that is avail for both cars. With all the concern over tunes and warranty coverage, this is the only way to get better throttle response and not void your warranty. Once it's installed unless you tell some one it's there, they will never know!!!

FWIW, they don't list the current or previous model year Mustang. And for Mustangs, there is only ONE setting.

It seems expensive for what it does.

They have it for the 2010, prob just a matter of time before they have it for the 2011. As for expensive, I got mine for $299 shipped. If you shop around you can find some good deals.

I'll admit this isn't something every one will want. If your car is already tuned it's a waste of money. If you want sharper throttle response and don't want a tune, then it's worth it.
