Speed Compensated Volume?
I just wanted to check with everyone and see if this is normal, or if there's an issue with mine. The speed compensated volume has worked great on the 2011 and the two Explorers that I'm around regularly - but on my new '14, it doesn't seem like it's working at all.
The only difference between the '11 and the '14 is the '11 has the shaker system, while the '14 is a base model. Is there just no compensation on the base model?
I searched on here, but I couldn't find any other threads that covered this.

I think they altered the amount of volume change for the newer models. It would change so much in my '05 & '07s that I was always messing with it to get it just right. I thought I noticed it change a bit in my '13, but I haven't really explored the feature because my exhaust is so loud that it probably wouldn't matter. I do love how Sync adjusts the volume when you get a call though. I know it's becoming a standard, but its so handy.

Isn't there a way to adjust how *much* it compensates? I seem to recall getting to a menu where I could set that on my '14.
But since then I've added a signal processor and amp, so don't have that feature on as was warned it could cause the signal processor to get confused about levels. *shrug*

I've has that in I think five Fords now, and the only time I can really notice that it does anything is coming to a stop when it 'quiets' down. It's very subtle, and if it's hard to detect the change, the system is probably working as designed. It's not supposed to be 'turn the volume up louder' louder.
