Spare Key Question

So, odd question. My mustang is my first vehicle that has a transponder key.

How do I go about hiding a spare key on the vehicle without having it activate the transponder system? Are there fancy faraday cage keyboxes?

I think the reader for the transponder is in the actual ignition. It shouldn't be like those start button cars.

I can confirm that with the correct key in my pocket I was unable to start my 2014 with an unprogrammed key.

But have it in the same hand as you are turning the non program key (spare for door) and it will work.
