Spacers or wheel widening?

Ok so here's my situation.

I'll be ordering the brembo pkg. I'm not fond of the brembo wheels. I would like to put on the wheels in this pic below, assuming they ever become available.

I'm pretty sure those wheels are 19"x8.5" since they look almost identical to the GT/CS wheels. And according to some members here they will not clear the brembos.

The stock brembo rims are 19"x9" so I will lose some width switching to these.Should I add spacers or get the rims widened?

I'm mostly concerned with the cost and safety of each option. Also I assume the wider brembo tire (255 I believe) will still fit the 19"x8.5" rim....

Widening won't allow extra brake clearance. Spacers will. After widening the offset remains the same, so if brakes don't clear before, they won't after. Widening is for running wider tires, the width is usually added inboard.

Thanks eci. I realized this shortly after posting, but didn't have time to edit (wanted to get the hell out of work lol).

I think you should wait to see the Brembo Pack wheels on GB. I feel like they would look really good...

Here they are in GB patrick

I just don't like them on grabber. I like the darker rims for the contrast, the ones in my first post are close to perfect IMO

Haha your car man, and funny literally that IS what you want. I think they look great, but would look just as good if you had them blasted/powdercoated matte black. Or glossy black...or charcoal gray.

I hate how tucked they look though. If only they were an inch wider and like 20mm more offset!
