My son will be deployed to Afghanistan soon (was in Iraq in 2010) and may be there for 9 months. I am assuming there will not be any 2012's left by the time he returns so he probably will have to get the 13. A couple of questions..do those in the military have any special discounts that are better than X-Plan pricing? ( I have X-Plan pricing through my employer that I think can be used for family members). When I ordered my 2012 I got that additional $750 rebate through mail...does Ford always have that rebate running?

I got a pretty good discount through Exchange New Car Sales. There was also an extra $3000 off on 2012. The 2013 promo was a $1000 "step up" from base GT to premium instead of the usual 3500 or something.

He can always lock in once he arrives and set delivery towards the end of his deployment. If there are rebates or incentives at that time, then he gets the cheaper price. Lock in early and ride it out.

If he's coming to the Kabul area, PM me and I'll hook him up with the sales guy. I have access to x-plan and they came in a bit cheaper. YMMV at the time he's ready, but it's good to have an option... just tell him to beat x-plan or no deal

Yeah he is in 82nd Airborne stationed at Ft. Bragg but currently in Yuma AZ for some training before being deployed. I hope those people are done being pissed off before he gets there..I wish we would just pull our kids back home...he has got another year and a half before he is done...
