Some new body mods!

Got some fun new body mods over the last few months. GT500 wing, Cervini's 2.5" cowl hood, GT/CS front valence, BOSS splitter, and a Honda S2000 antenna. Still have my Roush side skirts and GT500 rear valence to put on, but here are some pics as she sits:

to be honest, I LOVE all of it except for the hood, just too high toward the windshield for my taste.

The problem with cowl hoods on new cars is that the cowl/beltline is so high to begin with, that I think they make the car look too tall and bloated. Sorry, just my opinion. They looked great on Foxes, but look weird on s197s IMO. Love the rest though!

Working on that right now, but it requires money!

It all looks great to me. I'm just the opposite. I never liked cowl hoods. I think it looks good on the S197's. Just keep up with the pics of it.

Ford needs a lesson in making aggressive wheels.

I completely agree! I can't imagine it would be all that expensive to get some good looking wheels made, instead of the plain-jane stuff we get stuck with. And don't get me started on the absolutely horrendous wheel gap..

Looks sexy, love the mods so far. I hated the cowl hood on the website but it looks great here - looks better on the s197 because you have more length in the body to distribute all that height. Top notch

Haha, the 2.5" cowl on their website is actually my car prior to the GT/CS and BOSS splitter being installed. It makes a world of a difference!

It looks great! I just bought a set of these for my 11, still have to wait to get the sensors done and rubber, but these are a great looking wheel from Ford....

I do really like those, but I absolutely need a wheel with a lip. After seeing a Mustang on the highway with a 1-2" or so lip, I can't go back. Wheels with a lip in motion just look so good!

Can you use the air under the hood as additional cargo space?

The Boss fascia is pure gold though.

Looks fantastic!

Not sure how much difference the S2000 antenna makes though...need to look at mine again.

Perhaps..but only if I want whatever I'm storing to get cooked! Maybe I could install a skillet and fry some bacon on my drive to work..haha!

I'm on the fence about it. It's about half the length of the stock antenna, but a lot thicker/bulkier looking.

Digging it all. I'm doing the same hood and GT/CS valence. I'm ok with the stock spoiler though. Have nice 18x9 and 18x10 Anthracite Bullitt wheels with 295 series rubber out back. Makes a world of difference. Kona Blue rules...

I love the cowl look on both older and newer S197s. The white car is my girlfriend's drag car, the red one is mine, the '11 is my daily driver:
