I now it's not a bad thing but I have always had good luck with mmo and I didn't even add a whole lot it would be a bad thing if I added a whole bottle I added four oz. I also agree it just masked it

I know some of you disapprove and that's fine but at the end of the I didn't poor the whole bottle in. It was four oz it worked. It's not like i used slick 50 or seafoam hell it's mmo I use it on my nitro engine to keep the piston from sticking its just an lubricant nothing more.

It's your car, so who cares...but why wouldn't you take it to the dealer? It's a model year so new it's not even that year yet.

At one time people were getting a ticking when they changed their oil to soon in new cars. These engines need to break in and need 7,000 miles to do that. It has been awhile since I read that, so you need to check out my facts.

I agree it helped and my dads 10 track packs carbon fiber plates made a terrible humming until 5k and I had my oil changed at 2250k I was going yo change it at 1k but I called CAP and asked and they said to leave it in until 2k because there are additive in the oil from the factory. And for the record yes I called Chicago assembly plant

I wouldn't be concerned about the MMO. Go ask a old timer about the noise older cars made and some of the tricks they used to do. I would run it to the dealer and let them listen to it, even if they say all's Ok, you have it on record and if something does happen You brought it in. The factory doesn't say the first Oil change should be at X miles but 2500 is a good time because the oil in it first time around has detergets in it. Things need to seat and wear together, Years ago are dealer would be the first to run your car, called test miles, and they were run HARD, never had anybody complain.

If you were going to that much trouble, why not call the plant where Mustang is made?

Oh and I'm not sure if you mean "called Chicago assembly plant", They are built in Flat Rock, Mi. Chicago doesn't have anything to do with them!

Good point hey it's all good now what's really interesting is that ford says not to use oil addictive and they use them.

Hey man, it worked! Oils today have fewer friction modifiers than in the past. You saved time not going to Ford and having them send you away numerous times because they "could find anything wrong"
