solved valve train noise
Well a couple days ago I noticed a ticking noise coming from the engine on my 14 track pack. After some figuring out I added a cup or two of marvel mystery oil to the oil and it greatly recused the ticking and now it's gone all I hear now is the rather noisy injectors and my roush exahust cheers

No I didn't poor a whole bottle in just a couple of oz. I know people get nervous with stuff like this and I there are a lot of snake oil, but its marvel mystery oil hell I use it in my nitro engines all the time.

Try it but like it said I just a little in the oil is it going to hurt anything. Um no why because mmo is nothing more than a lubricant not a cleaner or solvent. Um I would never add seafoam to an new engine that's just plain dumb

I hardly call that solved, more accurately would be to say masked.
Do you realize the importance of the oil with you engines Ti-VCT (Twin Independent Variable Cam Timing) system? Like others said, do some research.
The ticking noise in the valve train is not a bad thing, you are talking about 32-valves and 4-cams in an overhead configuration, so it only makes sense that were going to hear something. Additionally, the noise gets quieter with more miles on the clock.

But if it was a pronounced tick, that is another. Granted, this would seem to be abnormal on a new engine, but Ford uses hydraulic lash adjusters under the finger followers. And sometimes they can be sticky (typically in older engines). So a special valve train lubricant like MMOil may have freed a sticky lash adjuster and he's good to go.
Also, the 5.0 TiVCT is less dependent upon hydraulics than the 4.6 is because the variable cam timing of the 5.0 is 'cam torque actuated', whereas the 4.6 VCT is all hydraulic. So the little bit of MMOil he added - and any slight change in viscosity of his oil - isn't going to harm anything.
You guys are making it sound like its going to eat a hole in his aluminum. lol No - the big bad 5.0 isn't magic - it's an internal combustion engine like any other.

Lol guys really? A few ounces of mmo will do alot less to the engine than its doing to your "5.0 know it all" egos...
To the op. A small amount of mmo might free a factory sticky lifter so good call in my opinion.
