So after seeing 2013 in person I can say that Ford did a great job. the new taillights look great and the vented hood is a great add on. Now that my wife really likes the new change she is pushing me into trading my 2011 in. lol

So if I can find a 2013 with track pack and recaros under msrp ill be sold.

Agreed 1 Billion %. And not completely based on the fact I just bought a '12 in August. '

I have mixed feelings on the 13. First I hated it. Then it grew on me a tad. Seen it in motion and grew a little more and now Im starting to slow like it. Still not totally sold on the whole 2012 GT500/V6 mating and having a baby 2013 front end lol. And the tacky stuff like the LED in the headlights and the Pony mirrors, which sound cool but are ehhh,

I went to look at a 13 in person this weekend. If the dealer wasn't such a bunch of idiots, I was hoping to get in and take a closer look at things. After seeing a GB GT in person, the new changes continue to grow on me. I think once I see a DIB GT in person, I'll know for sure if I'm going to trade mine in. I want to spend some time with the Track Apps and look over the lighting a bit more, as well as solve the mystery of 5w-20 vs. 5w-50 soon, then I'll figure out if it's time to trade up for a '13.

With that front end, the Chrysler and Ford seem to be merging together.

Or remove them (headrests). There was a post here awhile back with pics on how to remove them.

This is the beauty of the certified pre-owned market. Those that "hate" the "13's" can buy a clean pre 2013 model.

I have not problem with the rear end. In time it will be greatly accepted. The front end is another story. It reminds me of the mid '70's Mustang II's front end. I personally like the opened front edge of the hood.

Changes every few years is perfectly sane. This way there is always a "new" Mustang around to pop up in the car mags, blogs and assorted social media. Additionally those owners with more money than sense will trade up.

That and this 2013 refresh was more than just a face lift.

Why worry about this, find one you love, buy it, enjoy, never look back. Appreciate the rest.

I know some like it but here's my problems with it. The 500 one isn't as bad as the Gt one. The Gt one is the worst so I'll list what I don't like. 1. The glossy blackout should have been optional 2. The bumper cover on the GT as an extended piece at the bottom of it and it makes the butt look even bigger. 3. The license plate area just look like half the bumper cover is missing. 4. Two different shades of black don't work...glossy on top and flat on the bottom (plate area)

The blackout panel on the 13 seems to be removable... looks like its put on by double sided tape... I heard ppl saying that since its glossy it gets dusty within 5 minutes of driving... that kinda sucks... u guys already know how quick the rear gets dirty :-o

It's bolted on so there are holes in the sheet metal.
