Do all base 300A GT mustangs have Tri-bar trunk emblems or GT??

 

I would think it should have a GT badge on the trunk faux gas cap, does the trunk lid have a spoiler? If not and the car was not optioned with "spoiler delete" Then I would bet there is a V6 running around with your GT trunk lid and spoiler.

 

It has a spoiler but not a GT badge.
I bought it with like 5 miles on it, looks original to me.

 

A guy running around the Berlin Turnpike (CT) with a nice '13 Sterling Grey GT got one California Special door insert. He says he wants to leave it like that... I would too!

These mistakes happen.

Quality is job one.

 

Look for the union label.

 

 

All to common. A few years back, a friend bought a GT with a Cobra steering wheel center cap. I think these things make the car more unique and collectible.

Reminds me of buying Luke skywalker figures that were packaged on Han Solo card backs. (Back in the day of course)

 

My '11 5.0L 300A has 5.0's on the fenders and the tribar trunk medallion, but I installed the tribar trunk medallion myself (didn't like the GT medallion).

 

Leave it!! You have a unique gt!!!

 

Most likely adds at least 5 dollars worth of collectability value.

One of the first 2013 V6 mustangs that came into my local Ford dealer had a GT front fascia (upper grille fogs) and GT rear fascia. It sold pretty quick. I still see it around town often

Some of the 12 Bosses came with incorrect trim.They had Chrome rings and trim around heater vents instead of the brushed on normal Bosses.

 

Heard on the assembly line last one afternoon, 'HEY YA'll, watch this".........

 

Yup, it happens, my 87 GT Vert I bought brand new and still have has a 160 Speedo in it "Certified Calibration"....
