The snows are finally off!!!

Today I finally got to take off the snow tires and rims and drive her for the first time on the 19's - boy what a difference in driving feedback. Now it just needs a good spring clean and polish up then a few extra mod's!!

To come: Roush front / Edlebrock Super Charger / Suspension work / JLT Interior and Engine Hydro Carbon parts. This should keep me busy for a while I think!

nice man,

but you put them on too early...those summers arn't meant for the negative temps we've been having...even if there is no snow lol

be careful in the morning because those tires are not going to stick very well

Can't wait to bring my car out though!

p.s. you need to do a better job covering your license plate mr.pilot lol

Looks good. Still waiting for my '12 w/Brembo.

What wheel/tire package did you use for your snows?

I'm also curious to hear what winter wheel and tire set up you guys used/ are using. I ordered my '12 w/Brembo so I know I'll need wheels and tires. I'm thinking of the '10 GT500 18" wheels with some Blizzaks. What width tire was everyone using?

I'd appreciate any input about it, I've never used winter tires before.

Careful! I took mine off last week, washed and waxed her, in beautiful weather..two days later, on Friday, we had 5" and it has snowed just about every day since. Not much, 2" or less, but enough to make a mess. Luckily, I had my wife's Passat to run around in, if necessary, and the Mustang is still in the garage, pristine, and ready for Saturday..65 is predicted.

I hear you about maybe being a little early on the tires but I am heading south of the boarder at the end of the week for a month and the temps there are above 10c which is my summer tire comfort level.

Hope to get mine out of the garage next week. I only drove it a couple of days before storing for the winter.

My snows came off today! I ran Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 P235/50R18 on 18" x 8" Platinum 212 Black Widows. Now I am back to Pirelli P Zero Nero All Weather P235/50ZR18 97W on 18" x 8" Polished Aluminum.

Snow is forecast tomorrow.

That's about the only tire I see coming up for me. I am planning to get a set of the '10 GT500 wheels for winter. They keep listing a 255/45 18. Anyone have any other recommendations? I also see the pirelli sottozero in the 245 size. Actually I see lots more in 245.
