Snow covered garage collapses on my Stang!
Sorry to hear about this tough loss! No matter what the year, 1965, 1985, or 2005, any pony lost is a tough pill to swallow. Especially after something like this.
Hopefully you get a good paycheque from insurance and then go from there.

Once again, no one said to drop all coverage just full coverage....why pay for insurance against damages to someone else or their car if you are not even driving yours????? Again, totally stupid to keep FULL coverage on a car that is stored....drop the liability.....
State Farm has essentially storage insurance. That's what I do now. Can't drive it but it's protected against an issue like that. Would household insurance cover that just out of curiosity? On a lighter note, we have been selling a ton of roof rakes to folks out east. Glad to get rid of our stock.
Really sorry to see that. Especially since the mileage was so low and you planned to make more of a collector out of it.

Just a thought but here you go.

Wow. This is heartbreaking.
If in fact the car is totalled, it might be worth looking into buying it back. A super fresh motor/drivetrain like that is worth saving and it might help you to recover some of your losses.
As for insurance- is that garage yours? Do you own it? I suspect home owner's insurance will come into play.
Good luck...please keep us posted.

I had the coverage reduced to storage only. My insurance is covering the total loss.
