Sniffing the hood vents

If you mean to smell for oil or coolant or something then yes, if your talking about just sniffing for ****s and giggles then no.

Lol, yes. Before I drove off of the lot, I remember my salesman saying, "Now it's going to smell like it's on fire for the first couple hundred miles or so, so don't freak out!" Sometimes I do give her a little love whiff, though.

That sounds really weird, never remember mine smelling like fire, though I didn't have vents at breakin.
